Burbank: Taste Chicago

Actor Joe Montegna shared with MCCN's Erika L. Holmes about his little restaurant in Burbank which promises to give you a taste of Chicago.  His favorite items on the menu are the Beef Sandwich, and the deep dish pizza is popular.

His wife has duplicated many Chicago favorite such as pepper & egg sandwich, stuffed shells and the sausage sandwich.

Not that MCCN wouldn't take Joe's unbiast opinion about his restaurant but MCCN's editor and Restaurant Critic decided to check out the restaurant. Her thoughts, "You fee like you have stepped into a New York or Chicago for that matter, Italian Pizzeria. The beef sandwich is savory and seems to be oozing with marinated flavor. The thick potato wedge fries are seasoned. The restaurant offers the fries with cheese or garlic for an extra 85 cents. 

Atmosphere: Casual
Price: A little Pricey for sandwiches, Pizza and fries but the eating is good. $4 to $5 slices of Pizza and $7 to $10 sandwiches.
