date night for an evening of Italian food at Buon Gusto. I appreciate a restaurant that has white table cloth not covered in plastic or glass. Elegance is not comprised at a price that is affordable.
I ordered the Farfalle Santuzza, a dish consisting of grilled chicken, sun dried tomatoes and brocolli. Now, don't follow my lead I broke culinary rule that I feel somewhat guilty about. I asked if proscuitto could be added to my dish. Call it being spoiled on my birthday weekend but I crave the taste of proscuitto and not me dishes had it so when I so the dish with sund dried tomato, I thought what a perfect combination. However, I am sure the dish would have been quite flavorful with out my special request.
We shared a dessert of Tiramisu. The cake was light not too soggy. It was topped with an adorment of two raspberries which were a bit dull in color. Nevertheless, the plating was rather nicely done. Furthermore, you will be craving a cup espresso upon tasting the dessert.
