Baked_BrieWhat this place does not lack is atmosphere and fun menu items.   There is live jazz at night.  On Friday nights during football season, well dressed business men sit at the bar locking eyes with the flat screen tv's.  The restaurant sits off a marina so the outdoor seating is complete with a view of water.

As for the food, I have been there on two occassions and the experiences wereBananas_Foster different.  First everyone ordered appetizers only.  In the distance, I caught a woman eating cotton candy.  Yes, cotton candy is on the menu.  Next comes the fire when you order Bananas Foster, you are in for a table side treat. The presentation of calimari and the onions rings were quite appealing and tasty too.

The second time around there were more of us.  When a place makes a great impression first time around you tend to tell someone about it.  Unfortunately second go around there were some inconsistencies.  Two people ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu and the dishes looked like two completely different orders.  No one complained about the taste but one dish was clearly over cooked and the other was slighty undercooked based on the appearance of the crust not the meat.    I ordered the Baked Brie which sits atop a scrumptious pesto sauce from the appetizer menu (See photo above). It is a generous size, quite delicious.  Then there was the order of a steak medium well which came out rare.  Instead of offering another dish the restaurant sent out a creme brulee to a guy who simply isn't a creme brulee kind of guy but the rest of us gladly ate the decadent treat.

My suggestion to restaurants is that if you know the order is not correct then offer to do it over or scratch it from the tab.  Give the customer the choice.  My suggestion to customers, do not be afraid to vocalize your dissaproval by asking them to take it back.

Finally, this time around we did not simpy feast our eyes on the Bananas Foster, we indulged.  This dessert item gets an A+.  I don't like Bananas but I loved this.
