For breakfast my dining companion and I shared two of the two most popular menu items, Mom’s Omlette and Fajita Chicken Omelette. From the moment you meet these omelettes, it is love at first sight. The fluffy egg appearance makes its stand out from the average competitors. It Is filled with large pieces of chicken, jacked cheese and topped with a salsa. The egg itself is rich in butter taste but not overpowering. With as large the chicken pieces are you wouldn’t think it work but it does. Mom’s omelette is good too. My dining companion seemed to enjoy the Mom’s omelette with it’s bacon, mushroom and American cheese core.
With our meals as if the omelettes were not enough we had homefries, a biscuit, a pancake and an order of grits. The homefries are diced small but lacked in flavor although I could see onion sparingly. There seemed to be no salt or pepper flavor imparted or any other spice. The pancake was light and delicious. The grits fluffy and smooth but more like a canvas needing the splashes of butter and pepper to enhance it.
For those looking for a café with Wi-fi, Charlie’s has that too. The café is a local favorite with regular customers every day. Charlie’s is a rare locally owned gem in the midst of an area where fast food chains coming pushing their way on the scene.

topped with whipped cream). This is a must try. Omelettes are their specialty so much so there is a Killer Omelette Challenge. Your mission should you choose to accept it is to eat a dozen Egg Mom’s or Veggie omelette topped with their famous salsa and a stack of 8 pancakes. Eat in all in an hour, don’t leave the table and get yourself a free T-shirt.
